The Italian authorities have signed a new law decree to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) throughout the national territory
The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte signed on March 8 a new decree (DPCDM of 08/03/2020) imposing the isolation of Lombardy and 14 other provinces (Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia, Rimini, Pesaro and Urbino, Venice, Padua, Treviso, Asti and Alessandria) (red zones). The move came as our country struggles to contain the Novel Coronavirus( Covid-19) ‘s spread.
As indicated on the art. 1 of the dpcm 8 March 2020), no limitations or restrictions will be imposed on the transit of the goods. The staff operating the means of transportation can, therefore, enter and leave the territories in question and travel into these areas, provided that these activities are limited to the needs of the delivery or collection of the goods.
The ports and airports within the red zones continue to be regularly operational.
Despite the possible delays that this exceptional situation could generate, we ensure the regular execution of pick-up and delivery operations.
