The Rex system becomes mandatory for the Ivorian exporters
Starting from 2 December, European customs will no longer accept the EUR1 certificates issued by the approved exporters from the Ivory Coast, used to declare the preferential origin of the goods for the shipments exceeding 6000 euros destined to the EU.
Ivorian exporters interested in certifying the preferential origin of their products and enabling European customers to obtain the consequent tax advantages will therefore necessarily have to register in the REX system. (eur-lex.europa.eu)
